The Saas Valley is easily accessible from anywhere in Switzerland and its surrounding countries.

 

From the north

TOP TIP:

Discounted tickets are available at the counter of the Saas-Fee/Saas Valley tourist office.

From the east

Via the Furka Pass (or on Furka car train during the winter months when the pass is closed)

Via the Simplon Pass (or on Simplon car train)

 

From the west

Via Lausanne, along the Rhone Valley to Visp and from there towards Saas-Fee

aRRIVAL BY TRAIN / bUS

Travel by train to Visp and from there catch the Postauto bus directly to Saas-Fee.

 

Buses leave Visp every half hour until 7:11 p.m.; subsequent departure times are 8:11 p.m., 9:11 p.m. and 10:41 p.m. (there is also an 11:41 p.m. departure on Fridays and Saturdays). The Postauto bus stop is located directly in front of the train station.

 

TOP TIP:

1. Enquire at your station about the train’s luggage transfer service. We participate in the Swiss Federal Railway’s “Baggage Switzerland” programme, and will collect your luggage from the bus station on the morning of your arrival and drop it back there before your departure, allowing you to travel stress and luggage-free! 2. Here you can find out the times of all Swiss Federal Railway (SBB) train services.

 

3. Book your return journey from Saas-Fee to Visp/Brig by calling +41 (0)58 454 26 16.

ARRIVAL BY PLANE

There are regular daily air connections to the international airports of Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Milan, Amsterdam and Frankfurt as well as flights to Sion.

 

From these airports you can travel by train to Visp, and from there the Postauto bus leaves every half hour to take you to the Saas Valley.

 

You can reach Saas-Fee and the Saas Valley in about three hours from the airports of Geneva, Zürich, Milan (Italy) and Basel Euro using public transport.

Once you have arrived in Saas-Fee, drive to Terminals A or B in the car park. There you can unload your luggage before parking your car either in one of the lower levels or in car park 1.

 

Please make sure that you take your car park ticket with you.

 

You should only order the hotel taxi service once your car is parked and everybody is back with the luggage.

 

You can inform the Golf holiday apartment house of your arrival by calling us free of charge from the public telephone on 027 - 957 24 30.

 

If you are arriving by public transport, you find a telephone at the wall in the waiting lounge. From this phone you can call us for free on *3 330 to inform us about your arrival. hen, please take your luggage and exit the bus terminal to wait for your shuttle service. 

 

We provide a luggage transfer service for our guests between 1 and 6 p.m. Within this time period, and subject to availability, we can collect you from the car park or the final Postauto bus station with our own electric vehicle. If we are unable to collect you or if you arrive outside of the specified time period, please order a taxi (approx. CHF 20) to bring you to the Golf holiday apartment house. The corresponding phone number is available next to both telephones mentioned above.

 

You will find your apartment number alongside your name in the letter box at the entrance to the building. The apartment will be open and the key will be in the lock.

 

We will drop by in the first days of your holiday to welcome you personally.
